Hey Look AT ME....I'm a motivational speaker!
I was sitting in my back yard last nite. Great summer nite. Actually pretty cool. Wind blowing. Had been raining all day. These are the nights I can smoke Lucky Strike after Lucky Strike and think about where I'm headed and where I have been. Out of the blue I noticed my problem. The same problem I have always had. The problem that has plagued me my entire life.
I really could give a fuck.
I have read a quote somewhere or watched one of the motivational speakers on late nite T.V. talk about life. Something about life being a journey and you can either be a passenger or a driver.
I'm more like a hitchhiker. You catch a pretty decent ride for awhile and than you get out. Walk a little and wait for another ride.
You also hope that you don't get picked up and ass raped by a bunch of militant drifters with funny suits on.....But you always do!
I think last nite I may have figured out the key though. It's not worrying about the militant gang bang that is indeed in store.
It's enjoying the conversation and the Lucky Strike in the Green Ford that was nice enough to pick you up and take you half way to where you think you should end up.
Maybe I'm just in a Billy Bragg coffee in the morning mood.....
Goodbye and good luck to all the rubbish that you've spoken Goodbye and good luck to all the promises You've broken Your life has lost its dignity, its beauty and its passion You're an accident waiting to happen

The Philippines have an Army?
So I was the reading the article about the man from the Philippines who had been taken hostage in Iraq and was set free. I guess the captors set him free after the Philippine Government removed it's "forces" from Iraq and met the demands of the insurgents.
Couple of things here. When did the fucking Philippines get an Army? Did we know about this? Had they been building it right under our noses this entire time?
This "coalition" of the willing is pretty fucking weak! The Philippines are part of it? Who else? French Guyana?
On another note. I'm happy the guy got to go home. I saw his wife bust out in tears when she heard the news. Pretty touching.
something bother me though. Did his Government pull out for him? Seems to me they might have been looking for a way out and this just happened to work.
I agree with The President. This does set a bad precedence. We can't negotiate with terroists. It feeds the fire. It's like giving the bully lunch money and expecting him not to do it again. He will. He will just because he got those results. Once he gets your lunch money he will make you put women's panties on your head and walk through the girls locker room and cackle like a chick.....Maybe I'm making this personal.
That said If the Philippine Government wanted to pull out they should have just done it. No problem admitting a mistake.
I don't think they should have pulled out for the reasons they did. They have put more individuals at risk and fed the fire a little bit for the opposition.
I do however know of one family who would disagree with me.
I saw her crying.

Hey sit down and listen and they'll tell you when you're wrong. Eradicate but vindicate as "progress" creeps along. Puritan work ethic maintains its subconscious edge As Old Glory maintains your consciousness. There's a loser in the house, and a puppet on the stool, And a crowded way of life, and a black reflecting pool, And as the people bend, the moral fabric dies, The country can't pretend to ignore its people's cries. You are the government. You are jurisprudence. You are the volition. You are juridiction. And I make a difference too.

You're Gay? Cool we can fuck but no strings attached please!
We all know what happened today. No Gay Marriage ban. That's the good news. The bad news is we are still discussing a ban instead of equal rights.
It wasn't that long ago that Whites and Blacks were not allowed to marry....Doesn't seem even logical now does it? It wasn't the end of our society...It wasn't the fall of the empire. I argue it has made our society stronger. A better place to live and a true melting pot.
In a time of who wants to marry a midget on FOX and drive thru weddings in VEGAS. Don't tell me about the sanctity of marriage.
You want to know what destroys the sanctity of marriage?
DIVORCE
That said. I think people should people be allowed to get divorced. It's the pursuit of happiness. I hope everyone finds it....
Even these guys who have ruined the sanctity of marriage.
*Ronald Reagan - divorced the mother of two of his children to marry Nancy Reagan who bore him a daughter only 7 months after the marriage.
*Bob Dole - divorced the mother of his child, who had nursed him through the long recovery from his war wounds.
*Neil Bush - George W. Bush's Brother - divorced
*Newt Gingrich - divorced his wife who was dying of cancer.
*Dick Armey - House Majority Leader - divorced
*Sen. Phil Gramm of Texas- divorced
*Gov. John Engler of Michigan- divorced
*Gov. Pete Wilson of California- divorced
*George Will - divorced
*Sen. Lauch Faircloth - divorced
*Rush Limbaugh - Rush and his current wife Marta have six marriages and four divorces between them.
*Rep. Bob Barr of Georgia - Barr, not yet 50 years old, has been married three times. Barr had the audacity to author and push the "Defense of Marriage Act." The current joke making the rounds on Capitol Hill is Bob Barr...WHICH marriage are you defending?!?
*Sen. Alfonse D'Amato of New York- Catholic but divorced
*Mayor Rudy Giuliani Catholic but divorced TWICE
*Sen. John Warner of Virginia- divorced (once married to Liz Taylor.)
*Gov. George Allen of Virginia- divorced
*Henry Kissinger - divorced
*Rep. Helen Chenoweth of Idaho- divorced
*Sen. John McCain of Arizona- divorced
*Rep. John Kasich of Ohio- divorced
*Rep. Susan Molinari of New York- Republican National Convention Keynote Speaker - Catholic but divorced
Divorce Song-Liz Phair
And when I asked for a separate room It was late at night And we'd been driving since noon But if I'd known How that would sound to you I would have stayed in your bed For the rest of my life Just to prove I was right That it's harder to be friends than lovers And you shouldn't try to mix the two Cause if you do it and you're still unhappy Then you know that the problem is you
And it's true that I stole your lighter And it's also true that I lost the map But when you said that I wasn't worth talking to I had to take your word on that But if you'd known How that would sound to me You would have taken it back And boxed it up and buried it in the ground Boxed it up and buried it in the ground Boxed it up and buried it in the ground Burned it up and thrown it away
You put in my hands a loaded gun And then told me not to fire it When you did the things you said were up to me And then accused me of trying to fuck it up But you've never been a waste of my time It's never been a drag So take a deep breath and count back from ten And maybe you'll be alright
And the license said You had to stick around until I was dead But if you're tired of looking at my face I guess I already am But you've never been a waste of my time It's never been a drag So take a deep breath and count back from ten And maybe you'll be alright

Fahrenheit 96.5
So like everybody else I went to see the movie everyone is talking about. I thought Anchorman was funny.
I also checked out Fahrenheit 911. Here is my quick review....
Fucking brilliant!!!!!
Easy there...No need to call me pink commie homo lovin tree hugger just yet, O.K. Tex?
The movie does something that most movies do not have the ability to do anymore. Touch everyone on a personal level. Love Mr. Moore or hate him he made you think. Love Mr. Bush or hate him...This movie made you think. It made us all (Republicans, Democrats, Independents and the ever popular political party the I Don't Give A Fucks) angry...It made us all chuckle...Most of us probably cried. When is the last time you paid 8 bucks for a two hour ride like that? 8 bucks?!?!?
Take it one step further. How much have you discussed this film? How many hours have you put in looking up information??? How many White Wines (Dems), Budweisers (REPS) or Bong Water (I.D.G.A.F.'S) spilled while trying to defend or attack this film?
When is the last time a movie like this has made such a splash on American culture? It's been plastered all over T.V. and Radio for weeks. It has been water cooler talk for just as long and shows no real sign of slowing down.
We owe Mr. Moore a THANK YOU. Thanks for making us think again. Thanks for challenging us to discuss politics again. Thanks for getting this country a little pissed off. I was so tired of P.C. you can't say this you can't say that BULLSHIT. This country is built on dissent! GET MAD! Talk about it. Spill Budweisers on each other and discuss something meaningful instead of what happened on the final episode of who wants to a fuck a funny midget on FOX!
The last movie that had this kind of beauty to it was......The Passion Of The Christ!
I loved them both for exactly the same reasons!
Argue Politics....Argue Relgion! ARGUE!!! GET MAD... SCREAM....YELL....RESEARCH!
If anybody ever tells you to shut up. Rest assured it's just because you pissed them off. People tell me to shut up every day. They say shut up and play music. Do what you do best...You know why they say that? Because I made them think. Some people don't like being taken out of their comfort zone.
P.S. That Ron Burgundy is a funny mother fucker!

Teacher Has Sex With Student!!!!!
Have we been noticing a trend here? Seems like every few months we hear of a hot high school teacher fucking some incredibly lucky student.
See it's O.K. to say the student was lucky because he is a guy. Guys like to fuck. Young girls get raped. I know. I know. It's a double standard. It's one we deal with. Either it's wrong for both or it's not wrong at all.
When I was 15 would I have fucked her??? Hell yes. Would I have liked it??? I think so. No I'm pretty fucking sure. Would it have fucked me up later in life??? I doubt it.
So what truly is the difference?
I think it's the difference between men and women.
No, I thinks it's how society has continued to perceive men and women.
Women aren't supposed to cheat, steal, lie, kill. They aren't supposed to have sex for pleasure. They have sex for love.
I think what we are finding is the rise of women. Women can do anything men can do. Sometimes better. As we see women flourish in the personal , professional and political arenas why wouldn't they dabble in the seedy under belly of success as well?
As women continue to succeed in this country like never before (and I'm happy they do) I think we will only see more of this behavior. It will stop us in our tracks because evolution always does.
We shall see women scam the Stock Market (Martha) Become Serial Killers (Monster) as well as be leaders (Hillary).
It will be an interesting ride and sure to make some 15 year old guys happy along the way!
Take this pink ribbon off my eyes I'm exposed And it's no big surprise Don't you think I know Exactly where I stand This world is forcing me To hold your hand
'Cause I'm just a girl, little ol' me Don't let me out of your sight I'm just a girl, all pretty and petite So don't let me have any rights Oh ... I've had it up to here!
The moment that I step outside So many reasons For me to run and hide I can't do the little things I hold so dear 'Cause it's all those little things That I fear
'Cause I'm just a girl I'd rather not be 'Cause they won't let me drive Late at night I'm just a girl
Guess I'm some kind of freak 'Cause they all sit and stare With their eyes I'm just a girl Take a good look at me Just your typical prototype I've had it up to here am I making myself clear?
I'm just a girl I'm just a girl In the world... That's all that you'll let me be!
I'm just a girl, living in captivity Your rule of thumb Makes me worry some I'm just a girl, what's my destiny? What I've succumbed to Is making me numb I'm just a girl ... my apologies What I've become is so burdensome I'm just a girl, lucky me Twiddle-dum there's no comparison
